Stella Gilmartin, Gilmartin Consulting and Heather Louden will facilitate this workshop offered as part of the Women in Local Councils – making a difference initiative.
The current economic situation with regard to gender representation in Northern Ireland illustrates the need for projects to improve the numbers of women working in non traditional areas.
Participants will be able to learn from the lessons and outcomes of other models that have assisted more females into non traditional roles, thereby creating more choice and opportunities for female employment.
This session will assist councils in developing their thinking to take forward a programme to assist under represented groups into jobs which they would not normally consider. Councils can use this programme to target employment issues within their council area.
Refreshments will be available from 10.00am and the workshop will conclude with a light lunch.
There is no charge for this event.
