Commission House, 18-22 Gordon Street, BelfastThis Equality Network seminar will be facilitated by Iain Bourne, Senior Policy Development and Quality Manager, Information Commissioner' Office (ICO). It is aimed at all those who are responsible for the processing of personal data. The seminar will commence at 10.30am finishing at 1.00pm, a light lunch will be provided. The morning will comprise of two sessions. Session 1 will provide an overview of Parts 1-3 of the Employment Code of Practice. Session 2 will focus on Part 4 information about workers' health. The ICO is currently consulting on this draft guidance. This part of the Code aims to give employers clear and practical guidance about how to comply with the data protection law when handling information about workers' health including: - The operation of Occupational Health Schemes - Medical testing of workers - Drug and alcohol testing of workers, etc There is no charge for this event although places are limited.
