Supervisory Development Programme (Course full - register on the reserve list) - Monday 6 October - Wednesday 26 November 2008

Other Information:

This eight-day programme is the ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management. The Programme is designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation in their formal development as managers

The Programme incorporates skills practise, theory and expert inputs from leaders in the Public Sector with a focus on the experience of the participants. Hannah Shields delivers a module on motivation and leadership, Hannah was the first N.I. women to climb Everest – she is very dynamic and inspirational.

There is an additional module now on Emotional Intelligence which focuses on leadership components and each participant receives their own personal profile and in the individual coaching sessions the profile is used as a guide to increase participants awareness of the management skills they require to improve and also affirmed in their strengths.

Councils will be responsible for the costs of accreditation if this option is chosen

Cancellation Policy:

Substitutions may be made at any time, but please give as much notice as possible.  In the event of a cancellation notified between two weeks and one week before the start of a course, a charge of £400 will be levied.  For a cancellation less than one week before the start of a course, or a nominee's failure to attend a course, a cancellation fee of £800 will be charged to councils.  This principle will also be applied if a participant fails to attend on any day of a course lasting two or more days.  No charge will be levied if a cancelled place is filled from a reserve list.
