Law Enforcement Procedures Awareness - Tuesday 14 October - Wednesday 22 October 2008

Cost: £60 per person per day Other Information: This five day programme is designed to deliver a series of modules relating to law enforcement to Local Government employees with legislative responsibility for the enforcement of laws and regulations.
The progamme is aimed at middle managers who may require a basic knowledge of conducting investigations or as part of an induction programme for new staff in enforcement roles.
Participants have the option of accreditation by the University of Ulster.
The five day programme will take place in October and November 2008 and two suitable venues will be chosen to best accommodate those attending once numbers are confirmed.
The first programme will take place in October on the following dates;
Week 1 – October

Participants may also choose to attend any of the above modules as an individual one or two day short course which covers the subject matter in more detail. Individual one or two day modules will be confirmed on the basis of demand and sufficient numbers. Please register your interest in attending any of the individual modules to your TLO.
Bookings should be made online by the TLO, or someone authorised by the TLO.

Cancellation Policy:
Substitutions may be made at any time, but please give as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation notified between two weeks and one week before the start of a course, a charge of £60 per training day will be levied. For a cancellation less than one week before the start of a course, or a nominee's failure to attend a course, a cancellation fee of £120 per training day will be charged to councils. This principle will also be applied if a participant fails to attend on any day of a course lasting two or more days. No charge will be levied if a cancelled place is filled from a reserve list.
