In December 2003 the Commission commenced a consultation exercise on suggested amendments to the Code of Procedures on Recruitment and Selection (the Code) in two key areas, namely:

Recruitment and Selection Procedures for the Post of Clerk and Chief Executive
The Role of Commission Observers.
This paper outlines a schedule of amendments to the Code. They have been agreed with the Equality Commission and will be effective from 1 March 2005.

THESE AMENDMENTS FORM PART OF THE CODE OF PROCEDURES ON RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION AND SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED WITH THEM.
