The Northern Ireland Joint Council for Local Government Services (NIJC) is the negotiating body for all staff in councils in Northern Ireland (except Chief Executives). It is a 'provincial' council of the National Joint Council for Local Government Services (NJC) - the national joint body of employers and unions that negotiates collective agreements on pay and conditions for all employees of local authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
