The Director of the Local Government Staff Commission has overall responsibility for the administrative and executive functions associated with the implementation of Commission policies and procedures.

Commission staff work as a team in the performance of their duties and are guided by a three-year Corporate Plan and an annual Business Plan. The functions of the Staff Commission are managed by professional and administrative staff as follows:-
